Mozilla Nepal’s Three Days Localization was fixed for November 25th, 26th and 27th on Friday, Saturday and Sunday respectively at SAP Falchha, Babarmahal, Kathmandu, Nepal. As mentioned, only the Localization Sprint winners were invited to the event where they would discuss more about the ongoing localization activities.
The meetup was formally started on November 25 at about 5:00 PM in the evening. On the first day, Nootan Ghimire, one of the Mozilla Reps and Localization lead for Mozilla Nepal, welcomed everyone and talked about the meetup goals and things which were going to be done in those three days meetup. Also, there was a presentation from Surit Aryal, Mozilla Reps about Language and technology. Also, localization tasks were being done side by side with the presentations.
Day 2 started some presentations from Surit Aryal, Mozilla Reps and Roshan Gautam, Regional Ambassador Lead, about Transvision from Mozilla. Day 2 was completely filled with localization task. Everyone were busy on discussing and localizing the Mozilla products.
Day 3, the last day, folks were still busy localizing the Mozilla Products specially Firefox for Desktop and was on the edge of accomplishment. On this day, the reps were directing to start the localization for mozilla.org, the official site of Mozilla Foundation which was also about to complete on the same day. Finally it was about 5:00 PM and the Reps talked about weekly meetup and everyone left the hotel.
